Remittance inflow grows 19.3pc till March 29

DHAKA, March 30, 2026 (BSS) - Remittance inflow grew by 19.3 percent year-on-year, reaching $25,943 million during July 1 to March 30 of the fiscal year 2025-26, according to Bangladesh Bank (BB) data issued today. 

Last year, during the same period, the country received $21,744 million in remittances. 

During the first 29 days of March, expatriates sent home $3,490 million in remittances compared to $3,254 million in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
