KHULNA, March 30, 2026 (BSS) - Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Masud today said ideal university can be built through integrity, discipline and a strong sense of responsibility, and urged all to work together to achieve that goal. 

The Vice-Chancellor made the remarks as the chief guest while exchanging views with university employees at the university auditorium. 

Assuring that university problems would be addressed promptly, Prof Masud said coordinated efforts would create a positive and productive environment. 

Stressing professional ethics, the VC asked employees to be punctual and perform duties with sincerity and honesty, to treat the university as their own, and to work with dedication and accountability. He reiterated that the university operates under government rules and that employees are servants of the republic. 

While promising to consider reasonable job-related demands, he warned that strict action would be taken against irregularity, disorder or corruption. 

Employees welcomed the newly appointed VC and pledged full cooperation. Sheikh Hafizur Rahman, General Secretary of the Employees’ Association, also spoke. Staff from various departments attended the meeting.
