JAMALPUR, March 23, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed in a road accident at Melandah upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased was identified as Ziaul Haque, 50, son of Azhar Ali, a resident of Valuka village of the upazila.

The accident took place in Nalerchar-Taltola area when an auto rickshaw turned turtle on the road as its driver lost control over the vehicle, leaving its passenger Ziaul dead on the spot, said Shafiqul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Melandah Police Station.
