TANGAIL, March 23, 2025 (BSS) – Over 4,500 families of Mirzapur Municipality of the district have received rice under Vulnerable Group Feeding (VGF) programme ahead of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr.

Under the programme, each of the family will receive 10 KG of rice.
  
Administrator of Mirzapur municipality Masudur Rahman distributed the rice among the beneficiaries at the pourasabha premises this afternoon to support them during the Eid. 

Municipality BNP President and former VP Hazrat Ali Miah, Ward No. 3 Councilor Ali Azam Middiki, Upazila BNP Organizing Secretary Shafiqul Islam Farid, Municipal Executive Officer Shafiqul Islam, accounts officer Abul Hasanat Akon, Mirzapur Press Club former President Shamsul Islam Shahid, General Secretary Harun Or Rashid, among others, were present on the occasion.

The Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief allocated the rice, ensuring that each of the 4,621 families would receive 10 kg of rice.
