MYMENSINGH, March 23, 2025 (BSS) - Two youths were killed and another was injured when a truck hit a motorbike in Notun Bazar area under Muktagachha upazila of the district today. 

The deceased were identified as Ananta Khan, 22, son of Liton Khan of Ahmedpur village of the upazila and Russel Mia, 25, son of Azizul Haque, a resident of Char Ishwardia village of Mymensingh Sadar upazila.

"The accident occurred around 1pm when a truck, coming from the opposite direction, hit the motorcycle, leaving one person dead on the spot" said Md. Kamal Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Muktagachha Police Station.

The injured were taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital where Russel succumbed to his injuries.
