KHAGRACHARI, March 26, 2025 (BSS) - At least 30 shops were gutted in a 
fire in Dighinala upazila of the district early this morning.

The fire broke out at Tripti Hotel in Boalkhali Bazar next to Larma Square at 
1.45 am and engulfed the adjacent shops, said Md. Zakaria, Officer-in-Charge of 
Dighinala Police Station.

Being informed, fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the blaze, he said.
The cause of the fire and the total extent of the damage will be known after the 
investigation, the OC added.
