CHANDPUR, March 26, 2025 (BSS) - District Administration today accorded a reception to freedom fighters and martyrs of the Liberation War marking the great Independence Day and National Day at Chandpur Club auditorium here.
A total of 350 freedom fighters and family members of martyrs were present at the reception.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Mohasin Uddin addressed the reception as the chief guest while Police Super Muhammad Abdur Rakib was present at the event as special guest.
Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sakhawat Jamil Saikat, journalist BM Hannan, FFs Abdul Hamid Master, Shahjahan Gazi, Sirajul Islam Barokandaz, Mujibur Rahman and Dr Kazi Hashem, among others, spoke at the function.
The DC termed the freedom fighters as the best sons of the soil and said the district administration will do all possible for their welfare in the days to come.
