CHATTOGRAM, March 26, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury today stated that all the existing problems of the country should be resolved within Parliament, as there is no room for solutions outside it.

“Appropriate solutions to the national problems can be solved through an elected parliament and formation of a government having people’s mandate which will be accountable and committed to the people,” he said.

He made the remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion and Iftar Mahfil on the occasion of the 55th Independence and National Day.

Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal organised the programme at Chattogram Bandar School and College ground here.

“It is not the business of any quarter or individual to give solutions beyond the constitution,” he said, adding that “The war to bring back the ownership of the state to the people is not yet over and our struggle will continue until we return the rights of the people.”

He said that there was no scope of disunity in this challenging situation and no alternative to maintaining strong unity among the nationalists’ forces.

City Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossen was the main speaker at the event with Sramik Dal President Nurullah Bahar in the chair.

Chattogram divisional Sramik Dal president A M Nazimuddin, BNP city unit president Alhaj Ershad Ullah and general secretary Nazimur Rahman, among others, spoke at the function.
