BHOLA, March 27, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Coast Guard arrested five dacoits and recovered seven firearms from Char Mozammel under Tojumuddin upazila of the district in early today.
The arrestees are Md Harun Dafadar, 50, Md Rubel, 26, Md Kabir Majhee, 47, Md Yunus, 36, and Md Ferdous alias Heju, 40.
A team of coast guard raided the area and arrested them with seven firearms, bullets and four rocket players, Operation officer of Coast Guard South Zone Lieutenant Commander Rifat Ahmed said.
"The arrested dacoits are active member of notorious robber's gang Salauddin and they are resident of Char Mozammel," he informed.
The arrested dacoits handed over to the local police station.
