KHULNA, March 28, 2025 (BSS) - The holy Shab-e-Qadr, the most blessed night of Ramadan for Muslims, was observed here last night with due religious fervor and solemnity.

Muslim devotees spent the entire night in various mosques across the city, offering special prayers, reciting from the Holy Quran, holding doa mahfil, zikir, and other religious activities. Special prayers were also offered, seeking the blessings of the Almighty Allah for peace and progress for themselves, their families, relatives, friends, as well as for the nation and the Muslim Ummah.

Religious discussions took place in mosques throughout the night and food, sweets, and money were given to the poor and destitute.

A large number of devotees also visited the nearest graveyards in the city and district and prayed for peace for the departed souls of their loved ones.
