KISHOREGANJ, May 26, 2025 (BSS) - A man died after being electrocuted at Prajarkanda village of Mriga union under Itna upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased was Tofail Mia, 18, an auto rickshaw driver and son of Niaz Uddin, a resident of the same area.
Tofail came into contact with a live electric wire while attempting to connect his auto rickshaw battery for charging around 7:30am. He died on the spot.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Itna Police Station Md. Zafar Iqbal confirmed the incident.
