Noakhali district administration honors remittance warriors

NOAKHALI, Aug 2, 2025 (BSS) - Remittance warriors and their family members of the district were honored today at a program for their contribution to the country's economy. 

The Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment and the Wage Earners' Welfare Board (WEWB) organized the program at the Deputy Commissioner conference room under the program titled 'July Beyond Borders'.

Deputy Commissioner Khandaker Ishtiaq Ahmed presided over the function.

Officials of various government departments of the district, representatives of private organizations, expatriate workers and media personnel participated in the program.

The speakers highlighted the contribution of remittance warriors.

Deputy Commissioner Khandaker Ishtiaq said expatriates are the silent warriors of our country's development. It is our responsibility to honor them.
