GAIBANDHA, Sept 15, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed and three others injured in a road accident at Tulshighat Bazar on the Gaibandha-Palashbari road under Sadar upazila of the district last night.

The deceased was identified as Ripon Miah , 30 , son of Mahafuzar Rahman of Mirzapur village under Syedpur union of Shibganj upazila in Bogura district.

The accident occurred around 10:00 pm when a Dhaka-bound bus hit a labourers-loading truck by the roadside, leaving Ripon Miah dead on the spot and injuring three others.

The injured were rushed to Gaibandha General Hospital for treatment.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahinul Islam Talukdar of Sadar Police Station confirmed the incident.
