Bakery fined for preparing food in unhygienic conditions in Bogura

BOGURA, Sept 15, 2025 (BSS) – The National Consumer Rights Protection Department fined a bakery Tk 30,000 for preparing food in unhygienic conditions and other malpractices including incorrect information on products.

“A team of the department conducted a drive at Baliadighi union under Gabtoli upazila today and fined ‘Snigdha Bakery’ for multiple offenses”, said Assistant director of National Consumer Rights Protection Department Md. Shamim Ahmed.

“During the drive, we found various harmful practices while preparing food by Snigdha Bakery,” he also added.
