RANGAMATI, Sept 17, 2025 (BSS) - A preparatory meeting on celebration of Durga Puja was held today at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner in Rangamati district.


Deputy Director of the Local Government Department and Municipality Administrator Md. Mobarak Hossain Parvez presided over the meeting.


Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Ruhul Amin, Additional Superintendent of Police Nadira Noor, District unit of BNP President Dipan Talukder Dipu, Acting President of the District Puja Celebration Committee Swapan Kanti Mahajan, Convener of the District Durga Puja Celebration Coordination Council Barun Chandra Roy, Member Secretary Subrata Dey and representatives of 45 Puja mandaps of the district and upazila were present at the time.
 

This year, Durga Puja will be celebrated in 15 mandaps in Sadar Sadar upazila and 30 mandaps in 10 upazilas.
