DHAKA, Sept 17, 2025 (BSS) - Police have arrested a criminal accused in 13 criminal cases from Kotwali thana area of Jashore district. 
 
The arrested has been identified as Md. Imlak Hossain Mollah (30), son of Md. Altaf Hossain Mollah of Shaliat Village under 4th Noapara Union in Kotwali Police Station of Jashore district. 
 
Police in a raid at Fultala Bazar, Baro Gopalpur Village, Noapara Union, No. 4 under Kotwali Model Police Station of the district around 05.45 pm on Tuesday, said a police press release. 
 
A one-shooter gun and four rounds of cartridges were seized from his possessions during the raid.
 
There are a total of 13 cases against the detainee. Five of the cases were filed for possessing illegal arms while the remaining others for murder, robberies, preparation for robberies and possessing of explosives.
