3-day election training course for police members inaugurated in Bagerhat

BAGERHAT, Oct 11, 2025 (BSS) - A 3-day election training course (2nd batch) was inaugurated at Bagerhat Police Lines today with the aim of enhancing the skills and capabilities of police members.

Bagerhat District Superintendent of Police Md. Asaduzzaman inaugurated the training course as the chief guest.

In his inaugural speech, he said, "While performing duties in the upcoming elections, we have to work to protect the people's voting rights by maintaining impartiality, honesty and professionalism. This training to increase capacity and awareness will play a helpful role in the performance of duties of police members.”

Members from the rank of constable to inspector are participating in this training course. 

During the training, the participants will learn practical aspects of controlling the law and order situation during elections, preserving voting rights and performing duties impartially.

Md. Abu Russell, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops), was present.
