Putul attends paddy collection festival in Natore

NATORE, Nov 22, 2025 (BSS) - BNP-nominated candidate for the Natore-1 constituency Barrister Farzana Sharmin Putul took part in a paddy collection festival in Bagatipara upazila on Saturday.
 
The event, organized by leaders and activists of the upazila Jubo Dal and Chhatra Dal, featured free paddy harvesting and threshing activities in Phaguardiar Sadar and Swaruppur areas of Phaguardiar union.
 
Volunteers harvested paddy from 15 bighas of farmland to assist local farmers facing a shortage of workers.
 
Speaking at the event, Barrister Putul said that the paddy ear symbol represented development. She sought public support in the upcoming national elections, stating that victory for her electoral symbol would ensure continued development and good governance.
 
Former convener of Bagatipara upazila BNP and former mayor of Bagatipara Municipality Md. Mosharraf Hossain, former member secretary of the upazila BNP and former Upazila Parishad chairman Md. Hafizur Rahman, Upazila Jubo Dal joint convener Abu Raihan, member secretary Motaleb Hossain Panna, and Upazila Chhatra Dal member secretary Shahriar Mahmud Swadhin, among others, were present.
 
Bagatipara Upazila Jubo Dal joint convener Mosharraf Hossain said the initiative was aimed at helping farmers cope with the labor shortage during the peak harvesting period.
 
Later in the day, Barrister Putul participated in street meetings at 15 locations across Phaguardiyar union, including Madhyapara, Paschimpara, Nowpara, Kamarpara, Shantirmor, Sailkona, and Madhabbaria, where she continued her campaign activities and interacted with local residents.
