TANGAIL, March 19, 2026 (BSS) - A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident on the Jamuna Bridge Dhaka-Tangail Highway this morning.
 
The deceased is Sagar Mia, 28, son of late Rahim Uddin of Baganbari area under Ghoraghat upazila in Dinajpur district.
 
The accident occurred in Ashekpur Bypass area when an unidentified vehicle hit a motorcycle, leaving its rider Sagar dead on the spot, said Mahbubur Rahman, sub-inspector (SI) of Elenga Highway Police Outpost.
 
Sagar was going home from Dhaka on a motorcycle for Eid holidays. The body will be handed over to the family after the legal process is completed, he added.
