FENI, Mar 20, 2026 (BSS)- Main congregation of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr in the district will be held tomorrow at 8:00 am at Mizan Maidan in the town.
The ground has already been prepared for the Eid congregation. The prayer will be led by Maulana Mosharraf Hossain, Muhaddith of Feni Alia Madrasa.
Feni Deputy Commissioner Monira Haque visited the ground Friday afternoon and reviewed the final preparations, security, and overall arrangements.
She said preparations for the ground have already been completed, and the administration is active in ensuring overall security.
Nazmus Sakib, Deputy Director of the district office of the Islamic Foundation, announced the schedule of Eid congregations at various Eidgahs and mosques in the district.
He said that Eid prayers will be held at the Central Grand Jame Mosque of Feni at 7:15 am and at Zahiriya Mosque at 7:30 am. The prayers at these two major mosques will be led by Khatib Maulana Mohammad Saifullah and Mufti Mohammad Ilias respectively.
Other Eid congregations will be held at the following locations and times:
South Charipur Eidgah at 8:30 am, G.A. Academy Eidgah at 8:00 am, Police Lines Jame Mosque at 8:45 am, Circuit House Jame Mosque at 8:00 am, Mohipal Chowdhury Bari Jame Mosque at 8:30 am, Old Registry Office Jame Mosque at 7:45 am, Shanti Company Jame Mosque at 7:45 am, Railway Station Jame Mosque at 8:15 am, Upazila Parishad Jame Mosque at 8:30 am, Power Development Board Jame Mosque at 8:00 am, North Charipur Muktabari Jame Mosque at 8:30 am, Badrunnessa Jame Mosque at 8:00 am, Sahadevpur Central Jame Mosque at 8:00 am, Hazari Para Jame Mosque at 7:30 am, District Jail at 8:30 am, Faleshwar Eidgah Maidan at 8:30 am, District Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center at 8:30 am and Haji Fazle Ali Jame Mosque Eidgah at 7:30 am.
