2 drug dealers held with Phensedyl in Satkhira

SATKHIRA, April 25, 2026 (BSS) - Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-6 arrested two suspected drug dealers along with 1,649 bottles of Phensedyl in Kaliganj upazila of the district this morning.

The arrested were identified as Imran Hossain, 29, and Kamal Hossain, 41, both residents of the Khanjia area under Kaliganj upazila.

Acting on a tip-off, a team from RAB-6, CPC-1, Satkhira camp conducted a drive in the Khanjia area at around 8:50 am and recovered the Phensedyl from their possession.

The detainees were handed over to Kaliganj Police Station along with the seized drugs after filing a case under the Narcotics Control Act.

Additional Superintendent of Police Rezaul Haque, Company Commander of CPC-1, Satkhira, said RAB's drives against illegal arms, drugs and listed criminals will continue.
