DHAKA, Sept 7, 2025 (BSS) - BanglaFact, a fact-checking and media research team of Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB), has identified a fake photocard, with comments of Home Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury on "Tarique Rahman's address will be Keraniganj Prison if he returns to the country".

BanglaFact's investigation found the edited fake photocard circulating in the name of Kalbela distorting the comments of Jahangir Alam Chowdhury.

The investigation team mentioned that the photocard with the logo and design of Kalbela was recently circulated on social media "Facebook" claiming that the home adviser had made a comment that " Tarique Rahman's address will be Keraniganj Prison if he returns to the country".

However, the team verified that Kalbela had not published any photocard titled "Tarique Rahman's address will be Keraniganj Prison if he returns to the country" and Jahangir Alam Chowdhury had not made any such a comment.
