Farm technology exhibition fair begins in Chuadanga

CHUADANGA, Feb 18, 2025 (BSS) - A three-day agriculture technology exhibition fair began here today, aiming to disseminate the latest farm technologies among farmers.
 
Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) Masudur Rahman Sarker inaugurated the fair as the chief guest on Sadar upazila council premises this morning.

The agricultural extension department organized the fair under the Jashore region sustainable agriculture extension project.

A colorful rally also was brought out on the occasion.

Different agricultural methods, which will inspire farmers on how to produce better crops using technology, are being exhibited at the fair, said the DAE official.

With Chuadanga Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) M Saifullah in the chair, the inaugural function was also attended by Upazila Agriculture Officer Afrin Binte Aziz and Upazila Livestock Officer Mostafizur Rahman.

A total of 14 stalls have been set up on the fairground.

The fair is open for all from 9am to 5pm every day.
