Naogaon Govt College organises fairs marking "Youth Festival"

NAOGAON, Feb 18, 2025 (BSS)- Naogaon Government College organised different 
kinds of fairs like pitha fair, science and technology innovation fair and a 
book fair at its premises marking the Youth Festival-2025.

The daylong event included 37 stalls-- 22 pitha stalls, 14 stalls showcasing 
science, technology and innovation and one stall for books. 

Students from 14 different departments of the college participated in the 
event. A crowd of people of all ages, including young people, was seen 
walking around the fairgrounds.

At the pitha fair, all participating students were busy displaying 20-25 
types of traditional pithas including Hridoy Haran, Patisapta, Puli-pitha, 
Fish Pitha and Malai Cake and selling those to the Pitha-lover visitors. They 
sold the pithas at a cost of Taka 5 to Taka 50.

College Principal Professor Md. Shamsul Haque visited the fair stalls, 
appreciating the creativity and efforts of the students.

The science and technology stalls demonstrated several innovative projects-- 
a device showcasing the essentials of building a modern city, fire accident 
prevention methods and solar automation technology for boosting agricultural 
production.

The event offered a live platform for students to showcase their talents and 
creativity, creating a buzz on the college premises.
