Lavrov meets Xi in Beijing: Russian state media

MOSCOW, July 15, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had a bilateral meeting with China's leader Xi Jinping in Beijing, Moscow state media said Tuesday, as the top Russian diplomat visited for a Shanghai Cooperation Organisation meeting.

Russia's TASS news agency reported that Xi received Lavrov in Beijing, after the Chinese president held a "general meeting with the foreign ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO)".
