31 bottles of foreign liquor recovered in HSIA

DHAKA, Jan 22, 2025 (BSS) - Armed Police Battalion (ABPn) today recovered 31 bottles of foreign liquor and three kilograms of foreign made cream   from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) .

Additional Superintendent of Police (Operations) of Airport’s Armed Police Battalion Anita Rani Sutradhar told this   evening.

She said two trained dogs 'Die' and 'Merino' of Airport Armed Police Dog Squad helped recover these contraband items.

According to APBn, when an aircraft from Kolkata to Dhaka landed at Shahjalal International Airport at 9:10 am today, airport officials became suspicious after seeing two anonymous pieces of luggage in baggage belt no- 7.

Later, airport armed police in presence of other officials including representatives of airlines two specially trained dogs of the battalion's dog squad team identified the luggage.

However, the owner of the two pieces of luggage could not be identified.
