DHAKA, Jan 26, 2025 (BSS) - Light to moderate fog may occur over the country
during late night to morning, a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)
release said.

"Mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Rajshahi, Chuadanga, Pabna,
Naogaon, Sirajganj, Dinajpur, Panchagarh and Moulvibazar, and it may
continue" said the forecast that begins from 9am today.

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
Nigh temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain unchanged
over the country, Met office predicts.

Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to Bihar and adjoining area.
Seasonal low lies over the South Bay, extending its trough to North Bay.

Yesterday's lowest temperature was recorded 08.6 degree Celsius at
Badalgachhi in Rajshahi Division and today's maximum temperature 31.0 degree
Celsius was recorded at Teknaf in Chattogram Division.

The sunsets at 05:40 pm today and rises at 06:41 am tomorrow in the capital.
