DHAKA, Jan 27, 2025 (BSS) - An emergency meeting of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) was held today at the party chairperson’s political office in Gulshan.

The meeting began at 8.40 pm and ended at 10.20 pm.

Acting Chairman of the party Tarique Rahman chaired the meeting virtually from London.

Meeting sources said discussions on contemporary political issues were discussed in the meeting.

BNP Standing Committee members Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir (Secretary General), Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Salauddin Ahmed, Begum Selima Rahman and Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, among others, were present.
