Fisheries adviser condoles death of Magura rape victim

DHAKA, March 13, 2025 (BSS) - Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Farida Akhter today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of the eight-year-old rape victim of Magura.

In a condolence message, the adviser prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.

The rape victim, who was undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka due to sexual assaults, breathed her last at 1pm today.

The eight-year-old child was admitted to CMH in critical condition on March 8.
