Term of Women's Affairs Reform Commission extended till May 31

DHAKA, May 21, 2025 (BSS) – The government has extended the term of the Women's Affairs Reform Commission by an additional 10 days.

The Cabinet Division issued a notification on Tuesday, confirming the extension till May 31.

According to the notification, the extension has been granted to allow the commission sufficient time to complete its assigned work.

The Women's Affairs Reform Commission was originally formed on November 18 last year, with the mandate to review and propose reforms related to women's rights and welfare.

Shireen Parveen Haque was made the chief of the Commission.
