DMP files 2,013 cases against traffic rules violations

DHAKA, May 28, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 2,013 cases against vehicles, owners and its drivers for violating traffic rules.

The DMP Traffic Division yesterday filed those cases and realized fines through regular drive against traffic rules breakers, according to a press release issued today.

The DMP release said that 220 motor vehicles were dumped and 148 vehicles were towed during the campaign against traffic rule violations.

It further said these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on Dhaka's streets.
