WASHINGTON, Sept 11, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Former president Joe Biden on Wednesday joined many other US politicians in condemning the fatal shooting of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, and called for a halt to violence.

"There is no place in our country for this kind of violence. It must end now. Jill and I are praying for Charlie Kirk's family and loved ones," Democrat Biden said on social media.
