Hosting.com officially launches its operations in Bangladesh

DHAKA, Jan 15, 2026 (BSS) - World-renowned hosting service provider 'hosting.com' has officially started its business operations in Bangladesh. 

Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, the Chief Adviser's Special Assistant on the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, formally inaugurated the 'hosting.com' operations at a city hotel here.

Taiyeb said with the start of hosting.com's operations in Bangladesh, various digital services, including server infrastructure, cloud-based solutions, AI technology, search engine optimisation and domain business will gain new momentum. 

He said this will increase competition in the market, expand quality services and open the door to positive experiences and new possibilities for users. 

At the same time, the special assistant said, it will build a strong new ecosystem that will create new jobs, accelerate skill development and further expand the scope of knowledge and technology-based innovation in the country.

Hosting.com Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Seb de Lemos said, "We have received a lot of feedback on prices and packages and we are considering the matter very seriously. Very soon, special initiatives will be taken in terms of prices and packages for Bangladeshi customers." 

Hosting.com's Bangladesh Operations Manager Imran Hossain said hosting.com's world-class hosting and data infrastructure will open new possibilities for Bangladeshi entrepreneurs, startups and digital businesses. 

This will strengthen the local technology ecosystem, create new employment opportunities and play an important role in developing Bangladesh as a regional digital hub, he said.

It was also announced at the event that hosting.com will provide customer service in Bangla for its customers. At the same time, the company will ensure payment in local currency and affordable hosting services.

ICT Division Secretary Shish Haider Chowdhury was present as a special guest at the event. 

Local technology experts and industry representatives were also present.
