Two Eid congregations held at DU central mosque

DHAKA, March 21, 2026 (BSS) - Two congregations of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr prayers were held at the central mosque of Dhaka University (DU), Masjidul Jami’a.

The first congregation took place at 8:00 am, while the second was held at 9:00 am, said a press release.

The first congregation was conducted by the mosque’s Senior Imam and Khatib, Hafez Maulana Nazir Mahmud, and the second congregation was led by the mosque’s Senior Muazzin, M A Jalil.
