Dr. Nazrul Islam made Pro VC of BMU

DHAKA, April 21, 2026 (BSS)- Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam, a professor of the Radiology and Imaging Department of Bangladesh Medical University (BMU), has been appointed as the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) of the university for the next four years. 

Before this appointment, he was serving as the registrar of the university, according to a notification signed by Rahela Rahmat Ullah, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, here today.

He has been appointed in accordance with Section 15 (1) of the ‘Bangladesh Medical University Act, 1998’.
