DHAKA, April 21, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh women's hockey team conduced their 
first training session in Jakarta ahead of the women's Asian Games Qualifying 
Hockey scheduled to be held from April 23-29.

The Bangladesh women's hockey team played a practice match against Indonesia 
ahead of their first-ever appearance in a qualifying tournament.

Bangladesh, which pitted in Group A along with Chinese Taipei, Uzbekistan and 
Hong Kong, will play their group opening match against Chinese Taipei on 
April 23 before facing Uzbekistan and Hong Kong on April 24 and 26 
respectively.
