KUET VC vows to build research-oriented, student-friendly university

Khulna, April 7, 2026 (BSS) - Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Masud has pledged to transform the university into a modern, research-oriented and student-friendly institution.

He made the remarks while speaking at a courtesy meeting with students held at the university auditorium this afternoon.

The meeting was organized to discuss ways to improve the academic environment and to hear students' concerns and expectations. A large number of students from various disciplines attended and shared their views with the Vice-Chancellor.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Masud stressed that students are the driving force of any university and the future of the nation. He noted that their talent, creativity and proper guidance are essential for advancing the institution.

He also said that the feedback collected directly from students would play a significant role in shaping future academic and administrative decisions.

The Vice-Chancellor assured students that the university authorities would take necessary steps to improve academic, residential and medical facilities.

Student Welfare Director Prof. Dr. Md. Hasan Ali also spoke at the event, while Assistant Professor Md. Mahmudul Alam delivered the welcome address.
