DHAKA, April 20, 2025 (BSS) - The Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested seven members of a robbery and drug trafficking gang from the Tekerhat area under Adabor police station here.

The arrestees were identified as Md. Rasel, 24, Tanvir Ahmed Shuvo, 20, Md. Sujon, 32, Md. Chanchal, 28, Faisal, 17, Sohan, 18, and Chan Mia, 30.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of the unit conducted a raid in the area last night and arrested them while they were consuming drugs, according to a press release issued today.

Legal actions have been taken against the arrestees.
