DHAKA, April 21, 2025 (BSS) -  In a nationwide drive, 1631 more crime suspects were apprehended and 10 firearms were seized in the last 24 hours, said a press release of the Police Headquarters.

Of the arrestees, 1013 were arrested in previous cases and warrants while 618 individuals on other criminal charges.

One foreign made pistol, one local light gun (LG), two-single barrel local guns, four local pipe guns, two one shutter guns and six round cartridges of Chinese rifle were seized during the operation.
   
With the latest arrest, a total of 4746 miscreants were held in the last three days, since the nationwide drive to capture miscreants started afresh.
