Two arrested for link with killing during July uprising

SAVAR, April 21, 2025 (BSS) - Two accused in a murder case during July-August uprising in Savar area were arrested.

Police and RAB arrested them from Birulia area under Savar Upzila and Manikganj here yesterday.

OC of Savar Model thana said police arrested Billal Hossain,35, president of Krishak League of Ward  No-1 of  Birulia union Sunday night.

On the other hand, a team of RAB-4 arrested Rakib Ahmed Rocky, vice president of banned Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), Savar Upazila unit, from Manikganj yesterday.

Rocky was implicated in a case with International Crimes Tribunal (ICT), police said.

Both the arrested persons were sent to the court.
