1,617 more crime suspects netted in nationwide operation

DHAKA, April 24, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 1,617 more crime suspects were 
netted in a nationwide operation in the last 24 hours. 

Of the arrestees, 1,021 were arrested in previous cases and warrants while 
596 individuals on other criminal charges, said a press release of the Police 
Headquarters.

One pistol, two bullets and one pipe gun were seized during the operation.
 
With the latest arrest, a total of 6,253 miscreants were held in the last six 
days since the nationwide drive to capture miscreants started afresh.
