DHAKA, April 25, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 1,642 more crime suspects were netted in a nationwide operation in the last 24 hours. 

Of the arrestees, 1,072 were arrested in previous cases and warrants while 570 individuals on other criminal charges, said a press release of the Police Headquarters.

One country-made pistol, one single-barrel gun, five local-made pipe guns, two one-shutter guns, one magazine, four bullets and four cartridges were seized during the operation.
 
With the latest arrest, a total of 7,895 miscreants were held in the last seven days since the nationwide drive to capture miscreants started afresh.
