DHAKA, April 27, 2025 (BSS) - In a series of nationwide operations during the last 8 days, a total of 10,397 suspects were arrested since the drives started afresh.

In the last 24 hours, 1,508 more miscreants were netted. Of these, 973 of them were apprehended in connection with previous cases and outstanding warrants, while 535 individuals were detained on different criminal charges, said a press release issued by the Police Headquarters.

During the operations, six cartridges, three knives and Chinese axes, two machetes and one motorcycle were seized.
