Reunion of greater Cumilla nationalist lawyers of Dhaka base held

DHAKA, April 28, 2025 (BSS) - Eid reunion of nationalists and like-minded lawyers from greater Cumilla of Dhaka base was held today at Tarun Chattar of Supreme Court Lawyer Association.

President of the central committee of the Nationalist Lawyers Forum and vice-president of the Bangladesh Bar Council Zainul Abedin, president of the Supreme Court Lawyers Association Barrister AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon, former secretary of the Supreme Court Lawyers Association and president of the Nationalist Lawyers Forum Supreme Court Unit Barrister Badruddoza Badal and chairman of the Legal Education Committee of the Bangladesh Bar Council and senior lawyer of the Supreme Court Barrister Abdullah Al Mamun, among others, were present in the event with former president of the Dhaka Bar Association and convener of the Nationalist Lawyers Forum Dhaka Bar Unit Advocate Md Khorshed Alam in the chair.

Former president of the Dhaka Bar Association and advisor to the BNP Chairperson Advocate Md. Borhan Uddin addressed the reunion as the key speaker.

Former president of the Dhaka Taxes Bar and member of the Bar Council Advocate Md. Abdul Matin and central president of the Bangladesh Lawyers Council Advocate Md. Jasim Uddin Sarkar, were also present at the event while general secretary of the Cumilla District Lawyers Welfare Association in Dhaka Advocate Md. Shahjahan moderated it.
