MoU inked between BSCL & Sternula to make maritime sector digital

DHAKA, April 29, 2025 (BSS) - A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited (BSCL) and Danish company Sternula to make shipping safe and digital by installing satellite-based Automatic Identification System (AIS) in the country's maritime sector.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BSCL Dr Imadur Rahman and Danish company Sternula CEO Lars Moltsen signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organization at a ceremony held at the BSCL conference hall here today, a press release said.

Senior officials from both sides including the Danish Head of Trade Mission to Bangladesh Ali Mushtaq Butt were also present at the MoU signing ceremony.
