DHAKA, May 2, 2025 (BSS) - In the nationwide operations, over 15,532 crime suspects were arrested and numerous illegal arms and ammunition were seized in 12 days since the crackdown started afresh.

In the last 24-hour nationwide crackdown, 1255 more crime suspects were arrested and four bullets, six cartridges and one Chinese axe were seized, said a press release issued by the Police Headquarters.

Of the arrestees, 739 were apprehended in connection with previous cases and outstanding warrants, while 516 individuals were detained on different criminal charges.
 
With the latest arrest, a total of 15,532 alleged miscreants were arrested in 12 days.
