DHAKA, May 4, 2025 (BSS) – Police have arrested 30 people in connection with various criminal activities in the capital’s Mohammadpur area.

Regular patrol and operation teams of Mohammadpur Police Station under Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Sunday conducted special drives and rounded-up the individuals, said a DMP media release.  

The arrestees are- Mithun Kumar (47), Jalil Ratan (38), Sabbir (23), Liton (32), Sohel Mithu (42), Emon (21), Alex Tuhin (21), Faisal (25), Salam (32), Sohan (38), Enayet (45), Sattar (45), Sohel Rana (25), Niloy (17), Mehedi (16), Nur Islam (16), Sumid (20), Rabbi (23), Zahid (21), Kawsar (19), Ismail (23), Samir (19), Sizan (18), Rabbi (20), Rezaul (42), Nur Alam (45), Azgar Ali (38), Tofail (50), Hasim (40), and  Ashraful (30).

The arrestees included professional robbers, individuals with outstanding warrants, and those involved in various crimes.

They were produced before the court.
