MOULVIBAZAR, May 4, 2025(BSS) - The local district administration today in its first phase distributed 16 health cards among the July-August mass uprising heroes.    

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Moulvibazar Md Israil Hossain at his office handed over the cards to the people, who received injuries during last year’s July uprising.

Chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) General Bulbul Ahmed, the function was addressed, among others, by Civil Surgeon Md Mamunur Rahman, Convener of Moulvibazar Press Club Bakshi Iqbal Ahmed, Inqilab correspondent S M Umed Ali, Asian TV correspondent Md Mahbubur Rahman Rahel, student leaders Hasanul Banna Sajib, Apu Alam, Saleh Ahmed and Shah Jamal.

The DC in his speech said that now we got a new Bangladesh due to the sacrifice of the students in last year’s July-August mass uprising.

“The government has arranged these health cards for ensuring their all sorts of health facilities,” the DC said adding that the rest enlisted persons will get their health cards in phases.
