Tarique Rahman mourns death of Barrister Razzaq

DHAKA, May 5, 2025 (BSS) – Mourning the death of eminent lawyer Barrister Abdur Razzaq, BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman said as a political leader Abdur Razzaq had the ability to tackle situations with wisdom and responsibly and his decisions were highly focused on public welfare.

"I am praying for the eternal peace of his (Barrister Abdur Razzaq) departed soul and extending sympathy to his family and well-wishers," Tarique wrote on his verified Facebook page.

“The death of Barrister Abdur Razzaq has created a deep vacuum in the current political situation. He was a prominent lawyer of this country and his contribution to the field of law was outstanding. In all communities and aspects, he was respected as a gentleman,” the post reads.

Barrister Abdur Razzaq, former Assistant Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami and senior lawyer of Bangladesh Supreme Court died in a city hospital yesterday.
