Police returns 21 missing mobile phones to owners

DHAKA, May 5, 2025 (BSS) - Gandaria Police Station, under the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), has recovered 21 lost mobile phones and returned them to their rightful owners.

Acting on general diary (GD) reports filed by the owners, the police station used digital tracking technology to recover the phones from various locations across the country in April, said a DMP media release today. 

The recovered mobile phones were formally handed over to their respective owners at the office of the Officer-in-Charge of Gandaria Police Station on Wednesday. 

Gandaria Police has previously recovered and returned lost mobile phones to their owners on multiple occasions. After receiving their phones, the owners expressed their gratitude to police for their prompt, efficient, and dedicated service.
